Carotid Analyzer for Research

Common Problems and Solutions
  1. The initial analysis step detects the I-line interface rather than the desired M-line interface, causing the analysis of IMT to fail
    Solution:
Follow the Interactive Help advice - during the 1st "setup" step when the M-line is incorrectly detected, point to the proper location along the M-line border and right-click. Once the M-line border is correctly detected, proceed to the I-line detection and sequence analysis.

  2. Some AVI image data can not be opened.
Solution: Higher level of compression is not supported in order to achieve good quality of the analysis. Adjust the application that generates the AVI image data to use the non-compressed or minimal-compressed option for the image data.
